What does parental alienation look like for children?

According to Dr. Barbara-Jo Fidler, there are warning signs that children may demonstrate when they are victims of parental alienation.  Some of these signs include:

-Children may view parents as either all good or all bad. They may idealize one parent and devalue the other

-Children may viciously target one parent.

-They may use trivial and false justification for hatred to one parent.

-They may become angry at the rejected parent for a perceived abandonment

These behaviours are not the child’s fault, but rather a reaction to parental-alienation abuse. Read the rest of Dr. Fidler’s article.
