Daughters who have a strong relationship with their fathers are less likely to become pregnant in adolescence.

Evidence suggests that when girls have a strong relationship with their biological father, they seem less likely to become pregnant in their teens. Teenage pregnancy places girls at risk of poverty, missing out on educational pursuits, and other challenges. Fathers can have an impact on their daughter’s success.
